WI Notes
At the annual meeting held in March we had reports from theSecretary, Treasurer
and President and this was followed by the nomination and re-election of
President. Refreshments and Raffle had been organised by the committee after
which we were entertained by two of our members telling us their lifestories in
brief which proved very interesting.
In April we will be discussing and voting on the resolution to be debated at theNational Conference in Cardiff in June - this year the subject is the labelling of foodwith place of origin and is something a lot of us feel strongly about. This will befollowed by a fish and chip supper (will we know the origin?).New members are always welcome to our friendly group.
