Litterlouts' Outing
Let's go for a ride in the country;
One doesn't have to be rich,
To have a good time in the country:
We think we've found our own niche.
That bag of green garden rubbish,
That's very largely twitch;
We'll take it into the country
And fling it into a ditch.
That old and stinking mattress,
It lacks more than a stitch;
We'll take it into the country,
And drop it into a ditch.
And whilst we're there, we'll pick some flowers
Some of the rarer kind;
We might just as well have a picnic
And leave all our empties behind.
There's the old TV console
With its dangerously faulty switch;
We'll take it into the country
And fling it into a ditch.
And the cheap paraffin heater
Condemned, by Consumers''Which',
We'll take that into the country
And hurl it into a ditch.
And whilst we're there, we'll swing on gates
And let the dogs chase lambs
Who says the weekends are boring?
There's lots to do in Cambs!
We could take all this to the Council tip
But that's not very far,
And I like a nice ride in the country - Come on -- let's load up the car!
