Sleeping Beauty - The Review

FROM THE 24TH - 26TH OF JANUARY the Bottisham Players once again stunned all with their unforgettable panto of The Sleeping Beauty.

The two stars of the show, Princess Beauty (Minnie Willmott aged 15) and Prince Michael (Ryan Noyes aged 15) were brilliant, but one of the kisses was a bit too long for my liking!

The dame, Nanny Fanny Cranny, filled the stage and kept the audience entertained with jokes and a song about a worm which we all had to sing...............where in the original is that?!

The King's servant Pickles was a funny and bandy-legged character who made everyone laugh.

The wicked fairy, Carabos, was very scary, dressed in black with a spine-chilling laugh - BOOOO, HISS!!!!!!

Her enemy the Lilac Fairy sparkled & glittered glamorously and broke the evil spell cast by Carabos. HOORAY!!!!!

The Chorus had some great songs and dances to show!! The youngest members, Olivia Wade-Gledhill and Henry Kingsmill (both age 10) gave a polished performance.

This panto was great and a lot of work was put in. Why don't you try it next year? As audience, or as a performer, either way you'll have fun.
