Something for the grown ups.. .. .. ..
ENGAGE IN THE MORNING is the name of the new club starting at Burwell Library. We will be meeting on the second Wednesday of every month from 10.00 to 12.00 - the first session is on the 8th October. There will be guest speakers and events, tea, coffee and biscuits will be served and you can have the library to yourself to choose your books.
Our first speaker will be Cathy Inman from Trading Standards who will talk about doorstep selling and rogue traders, etc., and will answer any queries you may have. On the 12th November our Librarian, Jenni Johns, will speak about A Good Read.
Please come along, you will be very welcome. The sessions are free and, if you're not already a member of the library, it's very easy to join. Just turn up on the day or, if you would like more information, call into the library.
We will also be very pleased to hear from anyone who would be willing to come along and speak to us about any special interests they may have.
