Sponsored Walk

ON SUNDAY 24TH JUNE, seventeen members of surgery staff including doctors, nurses, dispensary and administration staff took part in the Kidney Research UK London Bridges sponsored walk. The walk was approximately seven miles long and the route followed along the Thames path and across the bridges between Tower Bridge and Hammersmith Bridge. It was amazing to see a long line of people in purple t-shirts, sporting purple balloons, stretched out along the route. Despite the weather, which varied from drizzling to downpour at times, everyone enjoyed the walk, the sights along the river and especially the picnic afterwards, underneath our own personal gazebo in Greenwich Park. We would like to thank all those patients who have very kindly sponsored our team. We are in the process of collecting all the donations at the moment and will let you know the grand total of team and individual sponsorships as soon as the figure is available.

Missed Appointments

Unfortunately, we are experiencing a higher level than usual of missed appointments at the surgery. Last month there were 70 appointments that were not kept by patients. If you have made an appointment and then find that you are unable to keep it, please would you let the surgery know as soon as possible so that the appointments are available for rebooking.
