Harvest Supper 2007
WITH A CRUCIAL RUGBY MATCH for England that evening the Harvest Supper organisers adopted a topical colour scheme for the event - red and white gingham table cloths and red and white flowers. Well it worked! Not only was the Supper a great hit, but the England team made it through to the final!
And thanks to the great team that pulled together to make the Harvest Supper a success - too many to mention, as always - but you know who you are. Whether you provided homemade bread, a salad or pudding, or donated local ingredients for any of those, washed up, tidied away, set up, ran the bar, organised the raffle, donated a prize, bought a ticket, gave the auction painting, bought the auction painting, provided the entertainment, transported the entertainment, organised the entertainment, watched the entertainment, staffed the door.. . or simply bought a ticket to enjoy excellent food, company and a very talented children's steel band, you all did your bit to help raise a magnificent £328 for Church funds and £110 for our Harvest charity - WaterAid.
Thank you.
