Captains of Industry 4
I'd like to spend more time at the Office;
Though I take breakfast from eight until ten,
This leaves but two hours until luncheon,
And I'm reading the papers 'till then.
After lunch I'll be at the golf club,
Meeting with high-ranking friends;
They play.Wemeet at the nineteenth.
This is always where every game ends.
Then it's home and off out to dinner;
I keep busy, that's easy to tell.
And one thing I've learned in my lifetime,
It's vital to always eat well.
I call in at theOffice on Sunday,
As a break in the trip to the coast;
It's so quiet in there on a Sunday
That I can leisurely read some of the post.
I wish I'd spent more time at the Office,
The attention I get here's not fun;
Though 'The Home' is quite well appointed
It's not home, when all's said and done.
