Parish Councilor Chosen as Parliamentary Candidate
SANDRA WILSON, one of our Parish Councillors has been selected by South
Cambridgeshire Labour Party to be their Parliamentary Candidate at the next
General Election.
Sandra told the Crier that she is "extremely honoured and excited to be given this opportunity, and would ask the village to forgive her if she misses a few Parish Council meetings to attend events in South Cambs in the forthcoming months".
Sandra has been a Parish Councillor here for more than 4 years, and prior to moving to the village had served Cambridge City Council as a District Councillor.
Sandra will be taking on Andrew Lansley, who is currently the Health Shadow for the Opposition. Anyone interested in helping Sandra in this role - or indeed the East Cambridgeshire Prospective Parliamentary Candidate Fiona Ross, can contact Sandra at home on 01638 742091.
