A poem by our poet in residence

'TWASon a Monday mo-orning

When I beheld my da-arling

Staggering out with the Washing Machine and

Merrily driving away!

With skill so great, she took her freight

And lobbed it out by Marshall's gate

Dashing away with her fly-tipping, she stole my hea-art away!

'Twas on a Tuesday Morning...

Repeat for smoothing-iron, old ironing board, clapped-out mangle...

Are they travellers? No-ooo. Are they horrid yobbos in beat-up Cavaliers? Noooo. Are they perfectly-respectable-30-40-something-Cambridge-residents-in-smartlittle-runabouts? YES!!!
