The Open Garden - 11th July
Inspite of unseasonable weather, nearly 30 people turned up to see Frank and June Readhead's garden. We were all surprised to see the difference from last year when it was in the planning stage. The growth in one year was incredible, tall bamboos, trees and flowering shrubs.
Thanks to June and Frank, the proceeds of £45 will be donated to St Mary's Fabric Fund. Next year Village Open Gardens may be a month earlier (before holiday time!), the tentative date being 19th June, so please make a note now, we would welcome gardens of all sizes.
