Last year we were lucky - or possibly we are just much better people than the
Bulbeckians. We fielded our weakest team in the last ten years and Bulbeck
turned out their strongest, determined to avenge their 5-1 defeat in 2001. But
we still won and this says something - I know not what - about the Priorites.
We now need hockey players for this year. Do not be shy. Phone me, especially the young lady who turned up at the last minute last year asking if she could play. The offer extends to anyone staying in the village over Christmas.
As usual the match will take place on Boxing Day Thursday, on the Denny at Swaffham Bulbeck, at 11.00 am. A very good mulled wine is available for a small charge and there will be collection on behalf of Magpas.
