School News

This year sees the 75th anniversary of the school on this site and the Autumn term has started off happily with ten new families joining our school, as well as new siblings starting school for the first time. We welcome them all to their classes.

Thank you to play scheme who have brightened up the far end of the school with an entertaining mural for the children. This feature will help play time when the weather becomes too wet to use the back field. We hope the skipping continues over the Winter months, as following last term's skipping workshop, many children caught the skipping bug. Do you have memories of skipping at school? Let us know your rhymes.

Well done to class Two, submitting their lovely school grown pumpkins to the garden show and thanks to Janet Lee for encouraging pupils to take part. This term Class four is looking into the history of Swaffham Prior village so if you have any anecdotes to share, we would be pleased to hear from you.

Members of the community are welcome into school at any time. If you wish to help out in any way on a regular basis, such as hearing children read, or on a one off basis by sharing a particular hobby or talent do let us know.
